Well, in celebration of a milestone birthday for me, here is the final chapter of this novel length story that I started so many years ago. It's been a long road, with lots of ups and downs. I have bittersweet feelings about finishing the story - a mixture of regret, sadness and relief, joy. I hope that all of you who have read through the years, and stuck with the story, will find emotional closure with this final chapter as I did.

My apologies that it has taken so long for this chapter to come about. Real life has been hectic. And, I’ve had a hard time wanting to sit down to write. I had actually considered adding more to this chapter, but figured that the point it stops is fairly decent, perhaps slightly cliff-hangerish (though not much). There is only one chapter left to this story (the climax) – unless it tends to be too long and has to be split. I’ve already planned the scenes in my mind how to end the fic, it’s just a matter of getting it written.

Well, I'm very excited to read that Gambit has been cast for a role in the new Wolverine Origins movie.

If that is the case, I'm gonna be one of the first in line to see it. Maybe even take a day off work...

I can only hope and pray that he'll have more than a quick cameo; that he'll have a substance role. And they better not take away his accent and the rogueish charm that makes him the loveable Cajun thief. Thank HEAVENS they aren't casting him with Rogue *hates on her* That can only mean that Marvel has no real input on this film, which is a very good thing! LOL
