I was at work, when a co-worker read a blurb on the internet about a plane hitting the WTC. My first thought was 'oh no! someone's private little propeller plane ran into the building? I hope no one was seriously injured or killed' It wasn't until a while later that I learned it was actually a passenger liner and that a 2nd one had struck the other tower. We watched most of it unfold over the internet via news stations' websites and Yahoo news.
