FIC: Origins ch 31

My apologies that it has taken so long for this chapter to come about. Real life has been hectic. And, I’ve had a hard time wanting to sit down to write. I had actually considered adding more to this chapter, but figured that the point it stops is fairly decent, perhaps slightly cliff-hangerish (though not much). There is only one chapter left to this story (the climax) – unless it tends to be too long and has to be split. I’ve already planned the scenes in my mind how to end the fic, it’s just a matter of getting it written.
