*chuckles* I've been waiting since forever (well at least since I introduced his plasma sucking self) to drop that bomb as a way to explain how they knew it wasn't Remy's blood. I hope it came across as believable. The massacre was what Jean felt through Cerebro, and it was enhanced because she was connected through Cerebro which caused her to send out that backlash wave to the other telepaths. I had hoped the whole scene would play on the readers emotions, and chewed on it for a long while beforehand. Thanks so much for the feedback. *hugs*
It'll be interesting to see how people take the next chapter, because it'll be a songfic piece that's heavy on the lyric inserts. It's a change in style just for ch 29 for several reasons - the latest being that I got a flame a while back about how bad it was to use songs in a fic (even though this one didn't yet have it in there) and then saw similar flames on a few other really great songfics by some other authors...and, well, it just pissed me off. *laughs* So, though I'd always planned the next chapter to be songfic, it was only after I got pissed off that I decided to make it HEAVY on the lyrics (like using all the lyrics from three songs) LOLOLOL. Yeah, in their face. *coughs*
So, it'll be kinda fun to see how it goes over when I post it. *grin*
